Prediction Markets UK is an independent educational content hub for people reading about event markets from a UK perspective. Its purpose is to explain unfamiliar terms and make product distinctions visible. It does not operate markets, accept deposits, sell placements or publish provider ratings.
How pages are prepared
We start with the question a reader is trying to answer. For regulatory claims, we cite primary UK sources such as the Gambling Commission, FCA and GOV.UK/HMRC. For a provider’s features or eligibility, we link to that provider’s own product or help material and label statements as the operator’s description. We do not represent an operator’s marketing statement as independent performance verification. We do not claim to have opened accounts or tested products firsthand.
The keyword research CSVs named in the project brief were not present when this edition was prepared. Topic priorities and FAQ themes therefore come from the brief, not an analysis of those files. The date displayed on every page is the editorial review date. It is not a guarantee that eligibility, markets, rules or regulator positions have remained unchanged since then.
Directory criteria and corrections
The directory separates product type, evidence of UK access and specific points to verify. Inclusion is not endorsement. A missing confirmation is labelled “not confirmed” rather than interpreted as proof of ineligibility. Before publication under a live domain, a human editor should recheck every operator term, country restriction, citation and public-register record, and provision an editorial contact channel for corrections. We have not displayed an unconfigured email address as though it were monitored.
